She was there (poem)

When I was born, she was there.

Each year I grew, she grew too.

When I rose to face the world,

she was there.

With every faulty step, she was there.

What would life be like if she wasn’t there?

I don’t care to dare.

When life was hard and friends moved on, fear was there,

and she was there.

My soul blossomed and all through the journey,

my Mom was always there.
