Letting Go (Poem)

What/Who are you holding on to at this very moment? Is it serving you well?

When to step away,

consciously push away?

maybe another day – not today.

Unfurling your grasp,

Much too hard a task,

not today – another day.

If I hold on tight,

with all my might

the sun will shine bright, right?

Carry the torch,

forever on course,

hold it tight,

keep up the fight,

it’s worth it, right?

Consider this,

set it free,

it will come back to me,

one of these days,

in inconceivable ways!
